Montabaur, Germany – January 13, 2023 - WEB United Internet AG (FWB: UTDI), Europe's leading internet specialist, today announced strong financial results for the first nine months of 2023.

The company's core Access segment, which includes broadband and fixed-line telephony, delivered significant growth. The segment's revenue increased by 5.6% year-over-year to €4.6 billion, driven by rising customer demand for high-speed internet and fiber-optic connections.

The Applications segment, which offers cloud computing, hosting, and e-commerce solutions, also performed well. Revenue in this segment grew by 11.4% to €2.5 billion, reflecting the ongoing digital transformation trend across various industries.

Overall, United Internet's total revenue rose by 7.9% to €7.1 billion in the first nine months of 2023. The company's customer base expanded significantly, with 28 million customer contracts and an additional 40 million free accounts. Net income after taxes increased by 2.7% to €1.2 billion.
